2005 Zinfandel

Dry Creek Valley

Harmonious aromas of currant and ripe plums open to a fleshy core of blackberry jam with hints of cherry cola on the palate.  The finish is long and complex, exhibiting cinnamon spice, hints of cacao and lush tannins.

Harvest October 17-19, 2005
Fermentation The grapes were hand-harvested and fermented with native yeast in stainless steel tanks.  The resulting wine was aged for 18 months in French oak barrels and bottled unfined.
