R. Buoncristiani Vineyard

Located in the heart of the Russian River Valley off River Road, R. Buoncristiani Vineyards is surrounded by dozens of renowned Pinot Noir vineyards.

Ron Buoncristiani planted seven acres in 2002 with clones 115 and 777. Ron’s vineyard has Mollisol soil with abundant organic matter in the topsoil and subsurface layers. Both the drainage and heat retention in this type of soil is excellent. The soil and clone types coupled with the strong maritime fog influences allow the grapes to slowly ripen, creating those deep, rich Pinot Noir characteristics.
