Finest Sonoma County Vineyards

As a small, family-owned winery, located in the gently undulating hills of Sonoma County’s Russian River Valley, we are fortunate to have access to top-quality fruit from across the county. Owners Ken and Diane Wilson farm over 280 acres of wine grapes, many grown at the most breathtaking mountain sites in Sonoma County. Our estate fruit source gives us the flexibility to select not only the vineyards for our wines, but a vineyard block or even specific rows.

With Sonoma County’s Russian River Valley and Sonoma Coast appellations to draw from for our Pinot Noir and Chardonnay, we are able to produce varietally true, nuanced wines with the signature of the appellation and vineyard clearly defined in every wine. Our classic Bordeaux varietals—produced from our estate vineyards on the mountainous edges of western Dry Creek Valley—are robust and sumptuous with finesse and elegance found in a well-made Bordeaux.

At Matrix, our labor-intensive farming practices produce low-yielding vineyards resulting in grapes with astounding concentration of flavors. Our winemaking techniques continue the hands-on approach, with an intimate attention to every detail by winemaker Antoine Favero and his winemaking team. The results of these labors are reflected in our wines—powerful yet elegant, and filled with our passion to share only the best.
